Libraries
I started working at the Saint Paul Public Library my senior year
in high school.  I figured it would be a good way to earn money
for college, and offer better hours than other places.  All these
years later, I'm still there!

I grew up with the same stereotypes: Librarians are old, wrinkled
ladies who wear their gray hair pulled back in a bun.  They have
orthopedic shoes and a long chain around their neck so they don't
lose their glasses.  They walk around telling everyone to be quiet
while making the "shushing" motion.

No, I do not look like that.  I'm hoping to change people's
perception about the Librarian and libraries in general.

I received my Masters Degree in Library and Information Science
in May, 2001.
I spend my days helping people find things, teach
everyone about the library and train both the staff and the public
on electronic resources.
